Kindergarten students must be age 5 before 9/01/2020. Preference is given to Cherokee Tribal Citizens who are elderly, disabled, handicapped, and to families where the head and spouse are working or full-time students. The LIHEAP Program is an Energy Assistance Program designed to assist low-income Indian households with home heating, cooling, and crisis intervention assistance.
RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The Rental Assistance Program allows participants the flexibility to find and select their own rental unit within the Cherokee Nation, with a landlord who agrees to enter into a contract with HACN.
