When Shar gets arrested for possession on his night out, Morten attempts to recruit him as her first informer. Both the leads play their roles to perfection with the excellent support provided by the rest of the cast. One of the best series produced in the past few years. There was undeniably more to the story, and … Plot. A stranger picks it up and follows her off the train in a bid to return it, but the woman has disappeared. Considine, who is always good, is suitably world-weary, and Powley is quite scary as Morten. An outstandingly written and acted series. Just go and watch. It did not make sense and kinda ruined an otherwise good show. Rizwan is, by turns, charming and irritating as Shar. as a young British Muslim man of Pakistan descent who is manipulated and dragged into the dark world of being a police informant.
Highly recommended you invest 6 hours of your life - it will be rewarding!

I’ve rarely felt so engaged with a TV programme. But then came The Informer. Informer got one of the astounding British releases on Amazon Prime Video. Be it mild at times...what matters most to me is whats the bigger picture. I was waiting each episode for the BBC to screw it up with their political views but they haven't yet, I'm still skeptical though as it is early days. This series has a lot of potential.
