Yes, the Gondola ride was just beautiful, but the self guided tour and the fact that they chose which of their 5 wines you could sample was very disappointing.
This was by far my favorite wine of the day and even of the entire trip. Cheers! Our final wine was the robust and tannic 2013 Platinum. Review the latest version here. The hostess who was serving us was so incredibly rude and abrupt no matter the quality of wine, which frankly is average and mass market wine we’d never return.With all the choices of wine and tasting experiences Sterling needs to ensure they have highly trained, educated and customer service oriented staff. You get off ht e gondola and the first wine stop is right there and a nice surprise was that we got to keep the glass they gave us.
