I rang and asked about parking the lady explained the car parks nearby were free from 4pm until 9am this was helpful. Ceiling lights full of dead flies. After a 4hr drive we arrived 45mins prior to book in time in the rain, to be told by reception that the room was ready but we would need to pay the extra £10 early book in fee to access the room, needless to say we declined and waited for the check in time of 3pm.
We were moved from a similar room with no privacy whatsoever previous to that. Terrible view - now, we get that not all rooms can have a lovely view.

The Newquay branch features an amazing abundance of marine life, ranging from the local species from the Cornish Coast to the unique and colourful animals of far-off tropical reefs, many of them viewable from an amazing underwater tunnel. Our was looking out onto a very unkempt roof/wall (see picture). Location is good, right on the Sea Front as it says in the name. There were guests that walked around without masks - there were notices to wear them in the bedroom corridors. There was a small fan in the room but it was absolutely full of dust.

As with many Travelodges, there is a distinct lack of plugs, 3 in total and none by the bed. Worth noting as an additional cost.
