I thought with the story showing us how this is the first time in 2 thousand years that Cyrus has come to love someone other than Sevan and Sevan accepting Logan that it would be the reason the curse breaks. The ending was poignant and beautifully brilliant and just exactly what I would have wished for I've been willingly addicted for a year now to these cha, I literally cried my way through a lot of this last book of a saga that has taken my heart. It satisfies a lot of questions, brings out so many emotions in me, and makes me crave for more.

You need to read this series, and start at the very beginning as all the feels are so worth it. The time for blood has returned. The end of a series of series, and I think this last book was a very satisfying read. I have also been jubilant and celebrated this amazing universe that Ms. Taylor has created. I am rating it 3 stars because I did not finish the book and I really think the issues I had with it account more for taste. Not gonna lie. Ash, his lowly scribe joins him on the journey and together with an optimistic sailor, Kaylin and friends from their homeland, they must fight for their lives in a land crawling with enemies and an approaching war. Refresh and try again. I wanted Logan and Cyrus to have a different ending.
The second plot line involves Ash trying to understand why she can suddenly speak and control phantoms and why she has always had a voice in her head talking to her.
