Dear LCH members,
We are excited to announce an upcoming and hopefully ongoing series of monthly LCH lunchtime Zoom sessions that will allow our members to present and discuss their interdisciplinary legal research. We invite you to note the dates below and register for the sessions using the links below.
Legality and Affect Date: March 20, 2024 Time: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. (EST) Description: Birte Christ and Wibke Schniedermann moderate a session on the special edition of the LCH Journal they co-edited entitled Legality and Affect. The speakers will be three of the contributors to the special issue: Gerlov van Engelenhoven from Leiden University, Laura Borchert from Giessen University, and Annika Thiem from University Tuebingen. Humor and the Law: Laughter as Critique/The Limits of Laughter Date: May 22, 2024 Time: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. (EST) Description: Andrew Bricker and Alberto Godioli moderate a session on two special issues on humor and the law they co-edited for LCH (Laughter as Critique/The Limits of Laughter) and HUMOR (The Difficulty of Judging Jests).
