Listen to the Artists! is a day of dialogues, open discussions and roundtables that attempt to trace the way contemporary art is changing and its newly forged connections to notions of law, justice and responsibility.
The discussions will focus on how art practice is moving away from the aesthetic and towards the affective; questions of habit and ritual that become embodied law; clashes and negotiations with power; radical understandings of law that are spatialised, embodied, temporalised and atmospheric.
The day ends with Merima Bruncevic’s Law, Art and the Commons (Routledge 2017) book launch
